PennDOT has selected the McCormick Taylor Team for the E01370 project.  The Team will be responsible for District 5 management and design reviews. SEI will assist on structural design review.

We welcome Mr. Ted Tuz, P.E. to join SEI as a Project Manager.   Mr. Tuz has more than 16 years of experience in bridge engineering, including bridge inspection, design and evaluation.   

December 2007

PennDOT Office of Planning and Research has selected Lehigh University for the research contract "Inspection Methods & Techniques to Determine Non-Visible Corrosion of Pre-Stressing Strands in Concrete Bridge Components". SEI will assist Lehigh University to develop the technique.

PennDOT has selected the DMJM+Harris Team for the E01218 project.  SEI will be responsible for rehabilitation design of one of the six bridges on Tyburn Road in Bucks County.

November 2007

PennDOT has selected the Gannet Fleming Team for the E01215 project.  The Team will be responsible for District 6 local bridge design reviews. SEI will assist on structural design review.

PennDOT has selected the McCormick Taylor Team for the E01270 project.  The Team will be responsible for District 5 local bridge design reviews. SEI will assist on structural design review.

PennDOT has selected the Lichtenstein Team for the E01076 project.  The Team will be responsible for bridge inspections and complex bridge ratings. SEI will assist on complex bridge ratings. 

PennDOT has selected the Pickering Corts and Summerson Team for the E01077 project.  The Team will be responsible for 2 cycles of Philadelphia County bridge inspections. SEI will assist on the inspections.

August 2007

The McCormick Taylor Team has been selected by the Montgomery County for the Lafayette Street Interchange Project.   SEI will provide curved girder bridge design and seismic design assistance to the Team.

June 2007

PennDOT has selected the Pickering Corts and Summerson Team for the E01053 project.  The Team will be responsible for state-wide bridge underwater inspections. SEI will assist on the inspections.

PennDOT has selected the Alfred Benesch Team for the E00660 project.  The Team will be responsible for the rehabilitation design of the Chestnut Street and Market Street Bridges in the City of Philadelphia. SEI will provide structural engineering supports to the team.

April 2007

PennDOT has selected the PB Team for the E01093 project.  The Team will be responsible for  rehabilitation design of the Penn Street Concrete Arch Bridge in Reading. SEI will perform ratings for the open spandrel and closed spandrel arch structures.

Congratulations to Mr. Chihwei "Tony" Jen for being licensed as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey.

February 2007

PennDOT has selected the Lichtenstein Team for the E01019 project.  The Team will be responsible for Chester County Bridge Inspections.

PennDOT District 8-0 has selected the Mackin Team for the E01065 project.  SEI will assist on District-wide NBIS inspections, structural analysis, and load monitoring.
